Photoshop is an incredibly powerful graphics and photo editing software.

At first, you may feel intimidated by all of the different tools and layers. However, it’s worth learning to use because of its great capabilities.

Many of the tools are straightforward and beginner-friendly. Others take some time to master.

The bottom line is that Photoshop is an excellent tool that’s worth having.

Get Adobe Photoshop.

Photoshop costs $31.49 per month

Photoshop is a subscription-based Adobe app. While it comes with other plans, Photoshop is available as a stand-alone app for $31.49 per month, $20.99 per month with a yearly plan, or $239.88 annually, which is $19.99 monthly.

The annual plan is the cheapest way to get Photoshop as a stand-alone app. However, you must pay the full amount upfront.

Aside from Photoshop for desktop and iPad, the plan comes with 100GB of cloud storage.

The Photoshop-only plan isn’t the cheapest way to get it, but if it’s all you need and price doesn’t matter, it’s the way to go because it’s still worth it.

The only free way to get Photoshop is the 7-day free trial

If you’re looking for a free way to get Adobe Photoshop, stop searching because there isn’t a long-term solution. The only way to get Photoshop for free is through Adobe’s 7-day free trial.

To start the free trial, Adobe requires you to select a plan and input your payment information.

Billing will automatically start after the free trial, and you won’t be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.

While you can’t get Photoshop for free, there are alternatives. GIMP and Photopea are two popular alternatives that offer many similar tools.

The cheapest way to get Photoshop is with the $9.99 monthly Photography plan

If you can’t justify the price for Photoshop as a stand-alone app, get the Photography plan with 20GB of cloud storage for $9.99 per month.

The Photography plan features Lightroom Classic, Lightroom for desktop and mobile, and Photoshop for desktop and iPad.

If you need more cloud storage, Adobe offers the Photography plan with 1TB of cloud storage for $19.99 per month.

The Photography plan is the cheapest way to get Photoshop, and it’s an optimal choice because it includes Lightroom.

Together, the two apps provide everything you need for photo editing.

Students and teachers can get all Creative Cloud apps for $19.99 monthly

Adobe’s best overall option is the Creative Cloud plan because you get all the apps.

However, it costs $79.49 monthly, $52.99 per month with a yearly plan, or $599.88 annually, which is $49.99 monthly. The price can be steep if you’re not using many of Adobe’s apps.

Fortunately, teachers or students 13 years or older qualify for the education discount.

With the discount, you’ll get Adobe Creative Cloud for $19.99 per month for the first year, and after, it’ll be $29.99 per month.

The catch is that you have to sign up for an annual plan billed monthly or yearly.

Adobe Photoshop has been around for more than 30 years, as its initial release was in 1990.

Since then, Photoshop has become a powerhouse. It offers excellent tools for creating incredible graphics and editing photos.

Like other Adobe products, Photoshop is subscription-based.

While you can get Photoshop as a stand-alone app, the best deal is to get it in the Photography plan with 20GB of cloud storage for $9.99 per month.

However, if you use other Adobe apps, the Creative Cloud plan gives you access to all of them for $52.99 monthly.
